Terms of service
The rules for training with me and buying from the shop. Written plainly, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.

02
Booking sessions
Sessions are booked through your client account. A slot is only yours once it is confirmed and you have the calendar invite.
- Notice
- Bookings must be made at least 12 hours before the session starts.
- How far ahead
- You can book up to 14 days in advance.
- Availability
- Only genuinely free slots are shown. If a time is not there, it is already taken or I am not available.
03
Cancelling and missed sessions
- More than 24 hours before
- Cancel from your dashboard. Nothing is charged and the slot goes back into the diary.
- Less than 24 hours before
- The session is charged in full. Call or message me rather than trying to cancel online.
- Not turning up
- Charged in full.
- If I cancel
- You are not charged, and I will offer you an alternative slot as soon as I can.
I understand that life happens. If something genuinely unavoidable comes up, talk to me. Repeated late cancellations may mean losing a regular slot, because that time could have gone to someone else.
04
Paying for training
Training is not paid for through this website. You will receive an invoice, on the terms we agree at your consult. Prices depend on how often you train, whether it is one to one or small group, in person or online, and how much nutrition support you want.
Sessions outside normal hours are charged at an enhanced rate, which I will tell you about before you book rather than after.
05
Your health and safety
Read this one properly. It matters more than the rest.
You must tell me about injuries, medical conditions, medication, pregnancy and anything else that could affect your training, before your first session and whenever something changes. I can only keep you safe if I know.
If you have a condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury or surgery, or have not exercised in a long time, speak to your GP before starting.
Exercise carries inherent risk. I will coach you to reduce it as far as reasonably possible, but it cannot be removed entirely. Stop and tell me immediately if something hurts in a way it should not.
Nothing on this website is medical advice. That includes the macro counter, which is a general estimate produced by a standard formula and knows nothing about you beyond the six things you typed in.
06
Buying from the shop
- Prices
- In pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. The price shown at checkout is what you pay.
- Payment
- Handled by Stripe. Your card details never reach this website. An order is only accepted once payment clears.
- Collection
- Free. I will bring it to your next session at JD Gyms Newport.
- Delivery
- Flat rate to UK addresses, usually three to five working days. I will tell you if something is going to take longer.
- Stock
- If something turns out to be unavailable after you order, I will tell you and refund you in full.
07
Returns and refunds
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind, and a further 14 days to send it back. Items must be unworn, unwashed and have their tags on.
Email me first so I know it is coming. You pay the return postage unless the item is faulty or I sent the wrong thing. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, within 14 days of the item reaching me.
If something is faulty, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full and I will cover the postage both ways.
08
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell me straight away if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Give accurate details. Your name and email end up on calendar invites and order confirmations, so getting them wrong mostly inconveniences you.
I may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the booking system, for example block booking slots with no intention of turning up.
09
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. I hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
Beyond that, my liability to you is limited to the total amount you have paid me in the twelve months before whatever went wrong, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
I am not responsible for results. I will give you a sound plan and coach you properly, but outcomes depend on what you do the other 165 hours of the week.
10
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
How your data is handled is covered separately in the privacy policy.
